Car Wash Business
Open or acquire a car wash and run the membership-driven model that reshaped the industry
About this course
This course teaches the format selection, site analysis, capital budgeting, and membership economics that real car wash operators use, not generic small-business advice. You will learn why the express exterior tunnel with an unlimited monthly plan has reshaped the industry, evaluate a corner by AADT traffic counts, ingress and egress, and stacking depth, build a capital budget spanning land, the tunnel building, conveyor and equipment, reclaim water, and point-of-sale, and model a membership business by capture rate, churn, and revenue per member. You will normalize a seller's numbers, calculate the cars per day needed to break even and to hit target margin, and make the labor-versus-automation decision station by station. By the end you can judge a format, screen a site, size the investment, project membership revenue, and know what actually drives profit in a wash.
