About this course
This beginner course teaches the concrete skill that underlies all figure drawing: capturing the energy and intent of a pose before any detail. Through timed pose sprints, the line-of-action and CSI-curve method, rhythm chains, and the Loomis landmark system, you will train your hand to draw life first. By the end you can scaffold a believable, dynamic full figure on a gesture that you drew in seconds.
